Are you ready to learn some new skills? Take on a new project? Create a beautiful bespoke piece of furniture for your home?
Well I certainly hope you are!! Upholstery by Erica-Jane courses are the perfect place for you to achieve all of the above.
We run 1 day workshops, week end workshops and evening or daytime classes to suit you at our workshop in Swindon.
Day time and evening classes are 3 hrs long and cost £40 each. You can come to one or as many as you like. We are also flexible about when you come, if you work shifts don't worry come to a day class one week and an evening the next.
The workshops include use of all tools required, teaching, storage of your project for the duration of the course, tea and coffee and the purchase of all materials in small quantities and at cost price. I don't stock top fabrics but do hold accounts with many suppliers and can order fabric for you if required. (Look at Sunbury Designs, Warwick Fabrics, Marton Mills, Fryetts, Ross)
All courses and workshops are suitable for complete beginners as well as those with experience. You can start with a small project and then transfer the skills you learn to a larger project............there will be no stopping you once you get started!
We teach you traditional upholstery skills, no foam or staples here!
But, if your project does have foam and staples, don't panic!! We can work with that too, your project will look amazing when completed.
Upholstery by Erica-Jane offers:
* Daytime sessions -Thursdays from 09.30-12.30 and 13.30-16.30, maximum of 3 students.
* 1 or 2 day workshops - usually held in Swindon, week days and week ends. Dates can be arranged around you. Why not arrange a workshop for you and a few friends (special rates available for 2 or more)
* Evening sessions - in Swindon on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 18.00-21.00. These evenings are great fun, a maximum of 3 students, you can attend 1 or come along to as many as you want to to complete your project, receive advice or just use the tools.
